New Release – Desire

I’m so excited to announce Book 2 of the Tales of Snow!

I’ve had so much fun writing this series, and I hope you’re falling as deeply in love with the brothers as I am.  It’s not easy to pick a favorite, but Edric might be it.  Maybe a little bit Edmund, too.  Or maybe Darian… UGH!  It’s impossible to choose.  So, why choose?  Right?

A deal has been struck.

In return for Kellen’s help, the seven men of the glade have vowed to help her free her sister. However, they cannot say what she must do, only that they cannot leave until she has fulfilled her promise.

To find answers, Kellen delves into the forbidden world of casting. She knows she’s irrevocably changing the course of her life through the spells she learns and her growing feelings for the men she’s helping. But she has no other choice.

With her promises weighing on her, Kellen will find herself at a crossroads between duty to her sister and the allure of the cursed men who have captured her heart.

Dive into a world where magic and the heart hold the key to unlocking a future teeming with destiny and love.

The Tales of Snow are best enjoyed after reading the Tales of Cinder since the characters are twin sisters.

Demon Shy

As with the other novellas, this one wasn’t exactly planned.  I was invited to write a second chance romance for the 2024 Healing with Words anthology, and May’s story was born.  It’s since been released from the anthology and is now available on its own.  If you read the anthology, there’s no need to purchase this again.  However, for the collectors out there, I did add more details (the story itself is the same) so that it can also be available in print (it’s little!).

Can a broken heart love again?

Haunted by the past actions of the survivalists who’d held her captive, May struggles to adapt to the safety and community offered by her rescuers. Although she shies away from men, the protective fey see through her facade. As their gentle presence heals her wounds, May realizes that love might be within reach—if only she can open up to the right fey.

NOTE: MAY IS A SIDE CHARACTER MENTIONED IN DEMON ESCAPE, BOOK 4 OF THE RESURRECTION CHRONICLES. FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN READING CHRONOLOGICALLY, DEMON SHY TAKES PLACE DURING DEMON DEFEAT: PART 2.

2023 was a busy year

Did you see what was published in 2023?

That’s right!  The finale to the Resurrection Chronicles dropped last year.  So, if you’ve been holding off on reading what is one of the most devoured series I’ve ever written, now in the time!

So what have I been writing since then?  The Tales of Snow, of course.

If you’re not sure what books you’ve read or missed, don’t worry.  I have you covered.  You can view a full, printable reading list on my website under the Book Extras.

Be sure to keep an eye on my newsletter for upcoming releases and events where you can get your favorite books signed by yours truly in person.

So far, for 2025, I have the following book events confirmed:

– Lucky in Lombard, Lombard, IL (April 26, 2025)
– Writers on the River, Peoria, IL (July 19, 2025)

Hope to see you there!

New Release – Demon Kept

As with Demon Design and Demon Discord, this novella wasn’t exactly planned.  I was plotting away at Demon Defeat, the final book on the Resurrection Chronicles, and an idea popped into my head.

Most of the time I can ignore them and stay focused.  It’s so hard to ignore these amazing guys though!

And what happened to Shelby after the end of Demon Fall is no exception…

Sometimes the past won’t stay dead.

Shelby’s suffered at the hands of her husband for too long. Rather than endure another beating, she risks everything and escapes with the creatures who brought about the downfall of the world.

The fey aren’t as horrible as her husband made them out to be. Sure they can kill with a flick of their fingers, but they’re also loyal, built like gods, and craving female affection. With the fey, Shelby might finally find a sense of safety and even a second chance at learning what real love looks like.

But it’ll take more than one fey to keep her safe from a past that isn’t yet ready to be history.

This Resurrection Chronicles novella takes after Demon Fall.

Demon Fall is here!

Can you believe we’re already on the ninth book in the Resurrection Chronicles?  How crazy is that?  It doesn’t feel like the series has been around long enough for nine books.  But when I look at the 200+ names in the growing world bible for this series, I believe it.  😉

I never imagined the Resurrection world would grow to be what it is and am so grateful for fans for giving it a chance.

So here’s to book #9, and the inevitable approach of the end.

Love isn’t blind; it’s devastating.

June had her future all planned out, and it never involved hiding in a bunker with her long-term boyfriend during what felt like the end of the world.  In fact, surviving the zombie apocalypse never even entered the picture.  Yet, that’s exactly what fate gave her.

A game of survival.  One horror after another.  But, at least she’s not alone.  At least she has Adam…until she doesn’t.

Heartbroken, June wishes she could face the apocalypse on her own, but she’s seen what’s out there.  Infected that are smart enough to fake what they are, and the hellhounds are determined to kill every last human.  If she wants to survive, she’ll need help from the dark creatures who rescued her from the bunker.

She’ll need a fey, and Tor is just the man for the job.

Join June as she discovers that relationships are rarely “easy” and often very emotionally messy.  And learn more about all the characters you’ve grow to love as they struggle against new dangers threatening their tenuous survival.  (Don’t worry too much!  June has Tor to help her figure everything out.  And you know how these fey work.  Hot, alpha, and full of humor!)

Another surprise! Demon Discord is here!

If you’ve been following my posts, you know that Demon Fall is still on its way, and that these little side novellas serve a different purpose.

As with Demon Design, this special pop-up novella also does nothing to further the Resurrection Chronicles world-plot.  It’s simply a fun little piece that answers a few reader questions.  Such as how the fey react when their women have their periods.  (I hope you enjoy their “care regimen!” lol)

Thanks to Demon Design’s proceeds, Demon Escape will be coming to audio in 2022!

I will again put all profit from this NOVELLA into the Rez World Audio Pot.  As soon as that hits $2,000, I can collaborate with a narrator for the next book’s audio.

Starting over isn’t easy…

All Terri ever wanted was a family of her own. Then, her world fell apart in more ways than one. Hellhounds, infected, and food shortages became her primary concern and would have made pregnancy difficult, but not impossible. Until her husband divorces her in a fit of hurt feelings.

Now, she has a choice to make. She can linger in the same house with a man filled with bitter resentment…or find someone in the other survivor settlement to take her in. Someone not human.

The thought of living with a fey makes Terri want to faint with fear, but maybe there’s a silver lining. The fey want babies just as badly as she does.

Starting over isn’t easy. But it might be exactly what she needs.

This Resurrection Chronicles novella takes place between Demon Disgrace and Demon Fall. It is not necessary to read this story to follow the world.

Levels of support
Level 1Amazon Purchase (outrageously priced at $5.99 for those who wish to speed things along)
Level 2Kindle Unlimited read. Since it’s a short book, Amazon won’t give me much of a share from the KU pot, but even a few pennies can go a long way.

You can further help the continuation of the Resurrection world by by telling other readers about this book.  Sprinkle it about on social media like literary confetti and make someone else’s reading world more magical!
